Her passion for art and community led her to establish a nonprofit organisation offering art therapy to vulnerable populations, including the elderly and homeless. However, after years of giving back to society, Elita felt a need for change—a desire to focus on her own personal growth and artistic journey.
In 2019, Amélie made the bold decision to close her business in Canada and set off on a new adventure. The pandemic initially halted her travels, but fate eventually led her to Brazil, a country rich in culture and spiritual connections. Here, amidst the natural beauty of Bahia, Amélie found the perfect location to create Infinicoliving—a unique coliving space that combines her love for art, community, and closeness to nature.
Infini coliving is more than just a place to stay; it's an immersive experience where residents can engage in art workshops, yoga, meditation, and connect with the vibrant Afro-Brazilian culture. Amélie's vision is to provide a sanctuary for digital nomads and travellers seeking a deeper connection with themselves and the world around them.
