I GUESS I'M A WRITER NOW...
Every since I was 6 years old, my bucket list always ever had just 1 thing on it: 𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘢 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬.
To be fair, I wrote a book when I was 6. My sister (3) and I drew the story and we then asked mom to write the text. After this first Best seller, I dreamt of a book that could reach a wider audience.
It took years of doodling around and mostly putting it off, a year of writing non stop and a year of procrastinating/editing but I can finally say that I did it.
My book is out and available to order since December 18th 2021.
It is so surreal I'm not sure I have fully grasped that I actually accomplished this. It took so much energy, time, (frustration) and support. It seriously took a whole Village. Thank You to the Village!

WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺. 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦?
It's my version of a story. A story about a world I grew up in, a world I stepped into, a world I long for.
I share about my life growing up in the 90s and entering adulthood in the 00s full of dreams and so unprepared. I share about my time living at K9 Coliving, exploring a life shared with others and everything it taught me, forced to questions and all the lessons learnt on how to live together well. Finally I dream of a Society that would embrace cooperation and emotional intelligence to build a more optimistic future.
It is all seen through a lense that I know to be biased and privileged in many ways. But as I said, it's my version of a Story. And I am so grateful I could finally let it out.
I am also terrified. Of course. But the joy of sharing the Cake with you is slightly stronger that the fear. So yeah to that.
